Course Description

Prerequisite: Intro to Animation & Video Game Basics class or equivalent experience is required, contact rbrous@smarterkidscode.com to discuss.  Kids will program an intermediate difficulty 2D table-top game project. This class gives kids the opportunity to test and further develop their coding skills while learning the discipline of designing and creating 2D games. The instructor, Richard Brous, has a CS degree from LMU and is an Animation (DreamWorks) and Video Game (Electronic Arts) professional.  For serious learners – with class once a week, it is critical that your child attend each one and avoid coming late or leaving early. Attendance data is shared with the PEP office, who may contact parent/guardian to discuss chronic tardy or lateness.
